Founded in 2013 in Barcelona’s bustling Eixample district, Micu Maku began as a cozy spot on Aribau Street, serving non-stop Mediterranean cuisine from breakfast to midnight. Its name, inspired by the Catalan phrase “Mico Maco” (a playful expression for something unique), reflects its commitment to authenticity and innovation.In 2023, the brand expanded to Castillejos Street, steps from Sagrada Familia, blending tradition with contemporary design. This location captures the essence of Barcelona’s cultural heritage while offering panoramic views of Gaudí’s masterpiece.
